  As the Earth and its inhabitants enter the era of the Anthropocene, fires of all kinds need to be approached and understood through analytic frameworks informed by all disciplines including the natural sciences, social sciences and the humanities.

  Our work brings together multi- and interdisciplinary research efforts focusing on climate risk and adaptation solutions, from engineering, natural, physical, health and social sciences.

  Our work broadly draws on expertise from sociology, global health, women’s health, mental health, health economics, health services, digital health and community health, to address the societal impact of Crisis on health and wellbeing, sustainable development and equal opportunities.
